Every summer, the FBI National Academy Associates, Inc. (FBINAA) hosts an eight-day training event for high school students at the FBI Academy called the Youth Leadership Program (YLP). To be qualified for this program you must:
In early 2020, several qualified applicants were evaluated, interviewed, and scored by the YLP Selection panel in hopes of being selected to attend the YLP 2020, which, unfortunately, was cancelled due to the COVID pandemic. The FBINAA - Hawaii Chapter is taking this opportunity to offer the 2021 YLP designation to the selected 2020 candidate and are rescinding the application process to new applicants for YLP 2021. We appreciate your understanding and continued support to the FBINAA in fulfilling the dreams of young service minded leaders.

- Be 14, 15, or 16 years old at the start date of the program. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE TO THE AGE REQUIREMENT.
- Demonstrate high academic standards and good citizenship.
- Possess a desire to gain knowledge of the American system of criminal justice, as well as ethics, leaderships skills and personal development.
